Ultra Minimalist

by admin on April 10, 2011

In order to maximize my freedom, I’ve become a minimalist. I want to possess the least amount of possessions so I can move around as fast as possible but still live. So far, I’ve gotten down to only a few items. Maybe I could do with less?

My Possessions:
1 Laptop
1 Gaming Mouse
1 Internet-Phone USB Card
1 Phone
1 Smartphone/camera/flash drive
1 recovery CD
1 external HD
4 Associated cables for my electronics
2 Pairs of pants
1 Belt
1 Pair of shorts
1 Swim Suit
2 Shirts
1 Dress Shirt
1 Coat
1 Scarf (ok, i’m indulgent)
1 Pair of Sunglasses
2 Pairs of underwear
4 pairs of socks
1 Knife
1 Toothbrush
1 Toothpaste
1 Comb
1 Nail clipper
1 Pad lock
1 Pen
1 Yerba Mate Straw
1 Money Clip
1 Half-used box of condoms
Documents: Passport, ID, Cards, and notebook.

That’s it. It’s everything I own. I guess some of those items are unnecessary but it all fits in my backpack with ease. Maybe I can find some better items. I want to travel as light as possible. Yeah, I have a lot of electronics but I need them for work.

It’s everything except my shirt, pants and socks i’m wearing and the comb and the nail clipper I forgot in my bathroom.

Over time, my possessions come and go. When it’s time, I abandon things that I no longer need. I get things I might need. I never have more than a backpack. You don’t need much to be happy in life.
